Global anti-trafficking charity Hope for Justice has launched a new podcast series aimed at equipping listeners with the knowledge and tools to join the movement against modern slavery and to understand the realities of this shocking crime.
Launched to coincide with National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, the podcast is titled “Let’s Talk About It”.
Antonia Boorman, Marketing and Campaigns Specialist at Hope for Justice, explained: “In this series, we chat with the experts as they explain common misconceptions about different topics surrounding modern-day slavery and human trafficking. From policy and legislation reform, to rescues and investigations, to life after exploitation, to business and human rights, we cover it all.
“We wanted to create an educational and engaging podcast that people can listen to on their way to work, out on a walk, or just when out and about. By sharing information in an accessible and engaging way, we can inform more people about the scale of modern-day slavery and human trafficking in our societies and around the world – and what we as individuals can do about it.”
Hope for Justice’s “Let’s Talk About It” anti-trafficking podcast is available on Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube and most other places you listen to podcasts. It is released every two weeks, on Thursdays.
