Social Media Strategist

Hope for Justice exists to bring an end to modern slavery by preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives and reforming society – do you share our passion to live in a world free from slavery?

Hope for Justice is seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist to join our growing Comms team, based in Manchester, UK.

The role requires someone with the talent, skills and vision to build and manage the organisation’s social media blueprint and presence across existing and new channels, developing and distributing content that educates and informs our diverse audiences about our work, culture and values.

We are looking with someone with both creative and data-driven technical experience, used to writing and adapting content from a variety of sources to aid in social media storytelling in line with brand standards and the established tone-of-voice of Hope for Justice.

The role would particularly suit someone with experience in the not-for-profit communications sector or someone interested in the anti-trafficking cause. You will be working alongside a pioneering, passionate and purposeful team as well as, on occasion, external marketeers or agencies.

Location: This position will be home-based initially, until Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. Thereafter, it will be based at head office in central Manchester.
